The name crocodile in English is crocodile. This name comes from the Greek language, namely krokodilos. The Giver of this name is based on crocodiles found on the Nile River. The word krokodilos derived from kroko (gravel) and deilos (worms or people). This designation of Greek can be interpreted as a rock worm, because crocodiles on the Nile often bask in rocks.
